Within the ALM Treasury team at BNP Paribas CIB, I participated in the implementation of a critical tactical engine intended to produce certain financial indicators (PNL, FTP, etc.) pending the availability of the target calculation engine. This solution relied on the results provided by a legacy system to transform and enrich them before their integration into the new reporting chain.

Given the project's stakes, which could not suffer any delay, the mission required rapid onboarding and strong autonomy. Its temporary nature also necessitated a clear and documented design, allowing for easy handover by the existing teams upon completion of the intervention.

Within the Architecture & Innovation team, I led the development of an innovative chatbot platform. This pioneering initiative within CACIB resulted in the creation of a modular and extensible architecture, capable of interfacing with a variety of technologies and conversational engines, from legacy AI systems to the latest generation language models. Our goal is to provide a centralized solution for accessing enterprise applications, simplifying navigation and resource utilization within this large organization. This avant-garde project aims to establish a new standard for user interaction.

As a Lead Developer, I managed a team of 12 developers, providing essential technical guidance for the development of this innovative software. My approach was based on the principles of Domain Driven Design, Hexagonal Architecture, and Clean Code, aiming to optimize the design and development of an automated drawing solution. This solution played a crucial role in reducing the design time for Mark III tanks. It improved the structure of the existing code, thereby facilitating the addition of new features and the scalability of the project. The adoption of these practices led to a significant increase in the application's performance, while ensuring better integration of future functionalities. Furthermore, I strengthened my team's technical skills through continuous training on design patterns, testing practices, and coding standards. This initiative ensured the maintenance of high development quality within the team. Finally, my close collaboration with business experts was crucial in aligning software development with the company's actual needs. This partnership resulted in high user satisfaction and strengthened confidence in the developed software solution, highlighting the significant business impact of our work.
