Sven Terhardt

I come from the mobility and bicycle industry and have become familiar with various areas in recent years – from production and quality control to product development, business development, and company building.

My professional journey began at QWIC, a Dutch e-bike manufacturer. I worked there for several years, not only in product management but also actively involved in production and quality control. This taught me the importance of not only thinking about products strategically but also understanding them practically – from the initial concept to the finished bicycle.

After that, I moved to igus GmbH, where I helped build the "igus bike" business unit and later took over its management. The focus was less on classic sales and more on development, innovation, and brand building. Together with the team, we developed an exceptional bicycle concept from recycled plastics and positioned the project internationally at trade fairs, in the media, and in the field of sustainable mobility. This period showed me how to transform innovative ideas into real products and strong brands.

Today, I am the founder of TER-BOX and work on new solutions for sustainable mobility and modern bicycle infrastructure. I combine my experience in product development, business development, and brand building with entrepreneurial thinking and the commitment to implement innovative ideas in a practical way.

What sets me apart is the combination of creative product development, technical understanding, and the ability to guide projects from idea to implementation. I think strategically, work hands-on, and navigate confidently between development, innovation, and business.
