In the last seven years (first at LucaNet AG, later at PKF Industrie- und Verkehrstreuhand GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft), during which I worked as an IT-near consultant, I repeatedly found that, among other things, the procurement of valid and reliable figures for closing and management processes is one of the biggest challenges. Just ask about the number of employees in your company. A simple question that is rarely answered consistently. One means FTE, the other the number. Perhaps even "adjusted" for apprentices, interns, furloughed employees, or employees on parental leave.
