In 2012 I started as a graduate IT professional as a SharePoint developer on the then-current SharePoint 2010 platform, in the midst of the transition to SharePoint 2013.
Several years later, the arrival of SharePoint Online caused my focus, which until then was mainly on server-side development, to shift to client-side development (SPFx, React, Typescript,...), largely in combination with Microsoft Search. Writing .NET applications is nowadays limited to Azure functions and webjobs.
Migrating OnPrem environments to SharePoint Online has therefore also become an important aspect, as well as the other tools within the Microsoft 365 platform such as Microsoft Teams, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
