Each year since 2017, the Rencontres Photographiques de ViaSilva host artists in residence to trace, through their artistic vision, the evolution of the developing neighborhood. Works are shared during exhibitions inside and outside the venue, printed and published in beautiful books.

(Ongoing Project) This photographic project highlights these forgotten young people, facing an unsuspected mental burden. How do they build themselves around the illness, disability, or dependence of their parent, sibling, or the person they have fallen in love with? The young people photographed are between 12 and 25 years old. They talk about the effects of this particular living situation on their gradual entry into adulthood and the social and identity transition they face. This photographic series is, in a way, a yearbook of the young carer, which through unique faces and stories provides insights into the daily lives of those who reinvent family ties.
