Suranjan Kumar Ghosh

I'm a research trainee working on high-performance vector search systems under Prof. Rossano Venturini and Prof. Franco Maria Nardini.

My work focuses on filtered vector search, approximate nearest neighbor (ANN) algorithms, parallel computing, and performance optimization. I'm currently implementing ACORN-based filtered search on kANNolo (official vector search library of cnr and unipi), a vector search library and benchmarking it against FAISS official implementation of acorn.

As the Web Team Head of the Techno India Hooghly committee, I led the planning and development of websites for various college events, with a primary focus on cultural festivals. The websites provided students with event information, artist announcements, schedules, and photo galleries from previous events.

I also designed the user authentication workflow, planning the login and account management system that would allow students to access personalized profiles and event-related features. Alongside development, I coordinated the web team's efforts to ensure timely delivery and a smooth user experience.
