Hello, I'm new to Malt! With over six years of experience in very different fields such as video games, advertising, and e-learning, I would be delighted to help you architect and develop your product!

As a Tech Lead, I help architect a product from its conception to its implementation, by proposing architecture choices via ADRs, Design Documents for the dev team. I also ensure that the team is involved in these choices through presentations, PoCs, and discussions. I ensure code quality through detailed code reviews, and I help teams properly implement solutions using recognized design patterns, and proven and sustainable architectures.

As a developer, my favorite languages are Go and C++, and I have worked on the three major American clouds, as well as Scaleway & OVHCloud. On the data side, I am comfortable with SQL (MSSQL, Postgres, MariaDB..), but my greatest expertise lies in the administration of MongoDB (Sharding, deployment on Kubernetes with an operator, application development, and optimization of queries and collections).

Kubernetes is my preferred platform for deploying all types of applications, including Stateful ones like databases. I almost always use the same set of components, namely Istio, Vault, and ArgoCD, as well as operators to deploy dependencies. I also ensure regular platform updates by dedicating time each month to upgrading components and nodes.
