I have been working in the mobile sector for over 14 years. First at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in the Mobile Health (mHealth) sector, then as a freelancer for the healthcare sector, and for over 10 years with my Smart As Apps GmbH for complete app projects as well as a freelancer.
The projects range from smaller full-service app projects, where I handle the complete technical implementation for clients, to freelancer assignments at startups (eDarling, Freeletics Gym) and corporates (Otto Group, Daimler, Audi).
My focus in app development is always on finding solutions that help my clients and especially the app users. Therefore, I place great value on close cooperation with product and design managers and advise them on the specifics of the Android and iOS platforms.
Through my client Ottogroup, I had the opportunity to participate in the preview program for ARCore, Google's Augmented Reality platform, and to work directly with Google's developer team in Mountain View. This experience has flowed into both the yourhome Augmented Reality app for Android and the Audi TwinCup AR app for Android and iOS.
