I have been working in the mobile sector for over 14 years. First at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in the Mobile Health (mHealth) sector, then as a freelancer in the healthcare sector, and for over 10 years with my company Smart As Apps GmbH, working on both complete app projects and as a freelancer.
Projects range from smaller full-service app projects, where I take care of the complete technical implementation for clients, to freelancer assignments at start-ups (eDarling, Freeletics Gym) and corporates (Otto Group, Daimler, Audi).
My focus in app development is always on finding solutions that help my clients and especially the app users. Therefore, I place great value on close collaboration with product and design managers and advise them on the specifics of the Android and iOS platforms.
Through my client Ottogroup, I had the opportunity to participate in the preview program for ARCore, Google's Augmented Reality platform, and to work directly with Google's developer team in Mountain View. This experience has been incorporated into both the yourhome Augmented Reality app for Android and the Audi TwinCup AR app for Android and iOS.
