After an initial R&D phase on “Pin on Mobile”, I was recalled to Ingenico to support the project's production launch, in direct partnership with Apple.

The objective was to participate in the creation of the world's smallest card reader, combining hardware and software innovation to redefine the future of digital payments. This international mission, conducted between France, the United States, and China, aimed to ensure a smooth, secure payment experience compliant with PCI security standards and Apple's excellence.

I had the opportunity to travel to China to support the hardware development, particularly on topics related to Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity and optimizing communication between the reader and iOS devices.

The project involved close collaboration with Apple teams, including Apple Retail (the client), SRE, and InfoSec (Security), to validate the technical and security aspects of the device. We held meetings three times a week to coordinate deliverables and ensure the quality of hardware and software integrations. Constant communication with SGS and certification and compliance experts ensured the product's robustness and alignment with PCI and Apple Pay requirements.

I was involved in the delivery of the SCRP firmware and the iOS application, ensuring the payment system's security, performance, and reliability. The work was based on the technical foundations established in R&D: Redux, SwiftUI, IXGuard, Qshield, Protobuf, and unit tests with high coverage. I contributed to optimizing communications between the card reader (SCRP and SCR) and iOS devices, validating candidate versions, and preparing builds for Apple Retail for their integration tests and internal demonstrations.

    January 2020 - January 2021 (1 year)
    Paris, France
At Renault, I participated in the development of the “AEX” (Augmented Editorial Experience) application, an innovative concept designed for autonomous vehicles. The goal was to rethink the in-car experience by offering editorial and multimedia content during journeys. The application provided continuity of use between mobile devices and embedded systems (CarPlay and Android Auto).

This exploratory project aimed to redefine how users spend their time while traveling.

The project brought together a multidisciplinary team of designers, developers, and innovation engineers at Renault Digital. We worked using agile methodology, with constant communication between design, technical, and product departments to iterate quickly on prototypes. I had the opportunity to present a complete demonstration of the product to over 50 people, a memorable exercise that highlighted the value of collaborative work and the project's impact on Renault's future vision.
The development was based on iOS, iPadOS, and CarPlay, with an MVI architecture and the use of GraphQL for data exchange. We implemented REST APIs.

This assignment also allowed me to deepen my understanding of integration between mobile and connected cars. The project was halted before deployment, following the suspension of the AEX program due to management changes at Renault.

At Fortuneo, I participated in optimizing the customer onboarding module and reducing the mobile SDK size. The goal was to improve the performance of the account opening process, allowing new customers to obtain a bank card in less than 24 hours.

I also contributed to modernizing the Design System by designing components in SwiftUI. This mission enhanced code quality, accelerated deliveries, and improved the user experience.

The project involved close collaboration between mobile teams (Véga), backend, UX/UI designers, and quality assurance. I ensured consistency between different modules and the integration of the AriadNext SDK for KYC verification. Regular communication with product teams aligned development with business objectives and regulatory constraints, while optimizing the software delivery pipeline and inter-team communication.

The project was based on SwiftUI, RxSwift, and an ELM-inspired architecture. I implemented CI/CD with Bitrise, eliminated nearly 90% of memory leaks using Xcode Instruments, and contributed to a 20% test coverage. I also designed the interactive personal finance manager (PFM) with animations and charts. These optimizations made the application more responsive, stable, and maintainable.
