Stéphane Gays

I was born in the Paris region and from the age of 7, decided to become a film director.

At 19, to pay tribute to my partner who had just lost her grandfather, I wrote a screenplay titled "Unexpected Encounter" which became my first short film six years later.

However, at the dawn of my 25th birthday, I had to face reality and take a more conventional job to feed my young family. I did not give up on my dreams of cinema and continued to write screenplays.

In 2012, after years without making films, I embarked on the 48-hour short film challenge with the film "Trait d’heure", which allowed me to understand that it was possible to write and direct short films with less complex and less expensive screenplays.

Between 2013 and 2015, I directed the short films "La lettre", "Faut(x) pas", "La Liberté est tombée" and the teaser "Le cirque Delamor".

For over ten years, I have been using my skills as a salesperson, screenwriter, director, JRI (Journalist Reporter Camera), and editor to help companies, institutions, and businesses develop their activities through corporate films.

My motto is that video today should be accessible to everyone and at a lower cost.

What motivates me is meeting new people every day, regardless of their field of activity, learning from others, and giving my all to move forward together in good spirits.
