As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at bunq, I lead the QA engineering team, leveraging my background as a product owner and my extensive experience in quality assurance, automation, and leadership.

• Team Performance & Mentorship: Started as the only QA engineer and successfully built a team of six, embedding Agile/DevSecOps best practices and automation for web and mobile (iOS & Android)

• Full End-to-End Quality: Own the entire process for enhancing product quality and reliability in a data-centric fintech environment, from requirements analysis to release.

• Innovation & Data Focus: Pioneer the use of innovative developments, such as GenAI, to improve product performance and ensure customer satisfaction and safety.

• Collaboration & App development: Working closely with DevOps, product, and iOS/Android engineering teams to embed secure coding practices, mobile test automation (XCUI Test, Espresso), and regulatory compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless app releases.

As a QA Lead specialised in highly scalable SaaS solutions, I was responsible for the quality, robustness, and reliability of our products and services to meet the high demands of the industry. Bridging the gap between business and IT by working closely together with the UI/UX, FE/BE developers and data science teams. Main responsibilities include:

• QA Lead: Managed the integration of Quality Assurance in two fast-paced and globally operating web-app and data science delivery teams.

• Software Development: Together with the Product Owner, led two DevOps teams by overseeing and innovating the agile SDLC.

• Test Automation: Developed and executed protocols, guiding the full-stack development and data science teams to automate testing.

• Product Roadmap: Prioritised in collaboration with our Product Owner by providing data analysis on security, quality, and impact.

• Digital Transformation: Supported our consultants in understanding clients' needs in digitising their workflows.

• Stakeholder Management: Maintained a network of high-profile clients in the industry.

In collaboration with the CEO and CTO of Inmotio I transitioned to a new Data Intelligence company to roll out our vision on both customer experience and product development. Working closely together with the DevOps team, CEO and CTO I developed a more product-oriented role solving the challenges of scaling up in a highly competitive ecosystem while digitalising and innovating our own and our client's workflow.

• Product Ownership: Acted as Product Owner for Performance Analysis software, translating requests into requirements and prioritising the delivery roadmap.

• Insights: Provided actionable insights to improve data analysis and enable better utilisation of complex data.

• Management: Managed junior consultants on global projects and customer experience.

• Innovation Project: Led a winning innovation project to restructure the UAE FA, residing in the UAE.
