About Stella

After many years in the private and associative sectors, I embarked on the adventure of entrepreneurship by opening a living space in Paris under the name efkeria. efkeria is a coffee shop, a neighborhood canteen, and a space available for all types of events (ephemeral, one-off, regular...) around themes specific to the soul of efkeria: well-being, solidarity & culture.

    Following my parents' retirement at the end of 2021, who had been running a shop at 2 rue de Paradis for over 30 years, I decided I had to take it over to keep it in the family. Thus, in 2022, I undertook the renovation of this space to transform it into a living space in the heart of the 10th arrondissement. After 9 months of work, in September 2022, efkeria was born.
    efkeria is a coffee shop, a neighborhood canteen, and a space available for all types of events (ephemeral, one-off, regular...) around themes specific to the soul of efkeria: well-being, solidarity & culture.

    The objective is to nourish in the broadest sense, at the cafe/canteen with seasonal products and homemade recipes, in the pop-up space through holistic practices and workshops that nourish the body & mind, and then through each other, passers-by, or regulars of the establishment who foster connections and exchanges that nourish the heart.

    efkeria means second chance/opportunity in Greek, one of my origins along with Spanish from my mother. A second chance for the premises but also for the furniture that was found with love and resilience; then a second chance for this professional integration project which I hope will see the light of day, one day.

    Open from Monday to Saturday, efkeria is a break from the Parisian hustle and bustle.
