I became a German teacher with passion, although I had previously successfully completed a degree as an environmental engineer.
In the meantime, I have more than 4,000 hours of teaching and 12 years of experience, primarily as an online teacher. In addition to ready-to-use English and Spanish,
I am currently improving my Italian. So I can put myself in the position of a student. I accompany newcomers to Germany in learning the
language and thus opening a door culturally. And I can also provide explanations in these languages. I adapt my lessons to the
students' interests. The more relevant the listening texts, videos, or reading texts are, the faster new vocabulary is consolidated in memory.
Students gladly take the opportunity for live correction of self-written texts using a self-developed, very visual
system that contrasts errors with the corrected text in color and also offers phrasing options. The higher the students' level, the greater the free or guided conversation component in the lessons, often also on technical topics. I place great importance on correct pronunciation and intonation from the beginning. I enjoy working with companies/HR departments or directly with immigrants and can also write invoices as a self-employed person.
Lesson bookings can be made at short notice and flexibly. This is just one way in which my lessons differ from those at adult education centers
and language academies with their fixed lesson times. I start with a level test.
In addition, I give my students many tips on how they can quickly increase their language level through simple readings, podcasts, apps, videos, or language tandems, so that they can soon conduct phone calls independently.
