Stefan Beer

As Managing Director and Software Developer at SoftwareTheke GmbH, I am responsible for the conception, development, and ongoing improvement of custom software solutions for businesses. My technical focus lies in implementing modern web applications and apps based on PHP, Node.js, Vue.js, and Nuxt. I prioritize scalable architectures and work with database systems such as Redis, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.

Another focus of my work is the development of add-ins using .NET and C#, particularly in the context of Building Information Modeling, where I create project-specific extensions for existing systems.

Furthermore, I design and implement SaaS solutions, manage their technical deployment, and oversee their ongoing operation. Additionally, I support companies as an external developer, familiarizing myself with existing system landscapes and developing them strategically.

I was responsible for the development of desktop and web applications, working with Delphi, PHP, and JavaScript in combination with MySQL, Redis, and Interbase database systems.

A central part of my role was the conception and implementation of a web platform using a hybrid cloud architecture, which served as an extension to the existing desktop applications. In this context, I also developed associated driver and customer apps to ensure end-to-end digital process mapping.

Starting February 2020, I additionally took over the management of the development department and received full power of attorney. In this role, I was responsible for both technical and organizational decisions and held overall accountability for the advancement of software solutions.

I developed automated test cases for quality assurance of an internal ERP framework, contributing to the platform's stability and further development.

Additionally, I enhanced the generic user interface based on Silverlight using C# and worked on the conception and implementation of a business process layer in Java to structurally map business workflows.

Another focus was the development of a generic framework module for data import and export, supporting various formats like JSON, XML, and CSV, and allowing flexible integration into different application scenarios.
