Over 25+ years, I've led and worked on some of New Zealand's largest digital modernisation programs, from creating the country's first government AI Fluency programme to developing security solutions that still protects millions of transactions today. My work spans AI governance, digital identity ecosystems, cyber security architecture, and API-driven digital channels—transformations that serve millions of citizens and customers daily.

What makes my approach different? I don't just advise from the sidelines. I've been the helping CEs/CDOs/CIOs/CISOs as Programme,Technology & Assurance leader who rolls up sleeves and delivers. I've led and managed multi-disciplinary teams, secured ministerial approvals for multi-million dollar investments, and built the capabilities and frameworks that organisations still use years later. I understand what it takes to move from strategy deck to production reality including long term sustainable capabilities.

AI Strategy & Governance – Built enterprise AI frameworks, led ML implementations, and established ethical AI governance for government compliance programs

Digital Identity Solutions – Build decentralised identity strategies aligned with national frameworks and international standards

Cyber Security Architecture – Led PCI DSS compliance, created NIST-based security frameworks, and established Chief Information Security Office capabilities

• ● Delivered Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy and roadmap, governance and assessment framework (AI/LLM, AI/ML, MS Co-pilot, RAG, Agentic AI), Fluency and now providing programme direction for AI and business compliance delivery programmes. (this AI Fluency programme is now NZ All-of-govt offering) .This is now an NZ All-of-government case study and also presented to 900+ attendees in Australian Public Service Commission session.
• ● Delivered Decentralised Digital Identity strategy and Digital Capability uplift programme as part of Technology and Security Strategy . The work has led to changes in operating model including inclusion of Digital Identity, AI and other digital skills as core staff skill requirements.
