Development of a scalable machine learning system for automatic classification of e-commerce products (text + image) as part of an MLOps project.

Building an end-to-end pipeline from data processing (approx. 100k datasets, text + image) through feature engineering and model training to deployment and API integration. Combination of NLP and computer vision approaches for multi-label classification.

Implementation of experiment tracking and model versioning with MLflow, as well as building a containerized microservice architecture with Docker (training, API, data services). Use of MinIO as S3-compatible storage and integration of a database for structured data management.

The goal was a reproducible, scalable, and production-like ML system, including an automated pipeline (Ingest → Train → Predict).
