It was designed to be very clean and elegant to emphasize the site's content and the studio's work.Transitions were added to allow for smooth navigation between pages. Each section highlights a different GIF (created by Mikimo Studio) depending on the category.Since the site's content includes many moving elements due to the nature of the studio, the interactivity and animations of the sites were designed to be very subtle.The site is in dark mode by default, but it can be switched to light mode according to user preferences.As Mikimo Studio is a motion design and VFX studio, it was difficult to block all auto-playing content by default. However, the site was developed to respect user preferences. If the user has indicated in their browser settings that they prefer little or no motion, then videos will not auto-play, transitions will be reduced, and GIFs will have a button to start and stop them.As this project relies primarily on images and videos rather than text, significant effort was made to make the site as performant as possible while maintaining satisfactory image quality.For this purpose, the WEBP image format is used, and videos are used instead of animated GIFs, which would be much heavier.
