Within the engineering team dedicated to the design of Alstom's railway product interiors, my role is to anticipate and detect potential defects that could displease clients or inconvenience or even worry users. This process begins from the first 3D volumes and continues until the first assembled vehicles, making the perceived quality approach particularly comprehensive.

What's the connection with design?

It involves putting oneself in the shoes of clients and users, adopting an attentive and critical eye to identify as many problems as possible. Our mission is also to ensure liaison between design and engineering, which requires good knowledge of both fields.

Even more experience in industrial design!

Indeed, working alongside engineering teams, as well as undergoing numerous technical training courses, considerably enriches my skills in the industrial sector: knowledge of materials, their uses and manufacturing processes, "design to cost" principles, maintenance constraints, etc.

In line with my values, I chose to become a freelancer to design truly responsible products.

Eco-design, innovation, circular and functional economy, low-tech design, and much more: I also integrate incentive approaches to encourage users to reduce their environmental impact themselves.

My first project was to create my own business and eco-design my website, entirely autonomously. This project is still being enriched, allowing me to continuously learn new skills.

Subsequently, I collaborated with Pixelis on a workshop on ecodesign at Clarins, then with WePlante, with whom I carried out several missions involving eco-design, innovation, greening, and product rental.

I also obtained my CII (Innovation Tax Credit) accreditation in November 2023.
