The DAVID laboratory, created in 2015, is a laboratory of the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines which proposes a scientific project focused on the new challenges of digital technology in the city of the future ("Smart City"). The DAVID laboratory has more than 60 members who carry out research activities combining massive data and quality knowledge extraction, data security and confidentiality, modelling and algorithms, and new generation telecommunication networks, in order to propose innovative applications in the context of the smart and sustainable city.
