Software engineering is my passion. For the past ten years, I have focused this passion on Open-Source projects, thematically related to build systems, continuous integration, and testing. The unique challenges associated with this field, as well as the privilege of collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds, have allowed me to accumulate extensive expertise in various aspects of my profession.

More specifically, my skills are divided into four main categories:

The first concerns system and low-level engineering, where I have had the opportunity to experiment with and implement highly technical solutions for Linux and the internal mechanisms of the operating system, playing a relatively unique role in their context. Among these, the most notable are BoxFort, a process isolation library used in a C/C++ testing framework; Mimick, a C mocking library that does not require recompiling or changing the tested code unlike alternatives; and bst, an isolation tool for building larger container systems like Docker or LXC.

The second category focuses on EngProd (Engineering Productivity), which is the backbone of any company with a software development division. In this area, I have helped write, deploy, and maintain internal tooling for clients, as well as fix bugs in various open-source tools like GCC and GDB.

The third category covers SRE/DevOps/SecOps, where I have assisted in designing multi-service systems and guided teams in their technical choices and the implications of these choices on budget, scaling, and security.

The last category concerns the idiomatic use of concepts and tools. In other words, I help teams write code that follows best practices, and I have assisted in recruiting Go, C, and Java engineers.
