I am Simon Méhat, a design engineer in the mechanical field, with knowledge in wood, prototyping, and eco-design sectors.
My Education:
I obtained a University Diploma of Technology in Mechanical Engineering, completed through a work-study program as an industrial designer in a company that designs and manufactures special machines. I worked on the design of several machines such as production systems, tools, and test benches for the automotive industry, plastics production, welding, and agri-food.
Today, I am in the final year of an engineering degree in wood science and technology and bio-based materials at the École Supérieure du Bois in Nantes.
My Skills:
Thanks to this training, I am capable of working on mechanical design in various fields. I have been using 3D printing for some time, which also gives me skills in designing printed parts.
As a future engineer specializing in wood, I can also design simple products in wood or other bio-based materials.
Furthermore, with my basic eco-design skills, I can work on the environmental improvement of your products.
