Simon Le Lay

During my studies, I worked as a building permit drafter to assist my grandfather, who had ceased his activity after closing his agency due to retirement. To ensure the continuity of ongoing projects, I took over the role of his draftsmen and was responsible for finalizing the files in compliance with regulatory and architectural requirements. This experience allowed me to develop my skills in plan design, project management, and coordination with various stakeholders in the sector.

As an intern, I conducted a feasibility study to transform an old fish market hall into a third place, analyzing architectural and regulatory constraints. I also participated in an architecture competition, working on architectural detail documents.

I gained comprehensive project management experience, from site supervision to design (sketch, PC and EXE phases) as well as participation in competitions. Notably, I was in charge of supervising a housing construction site as the manager, which allowed me to manage the different construction stages, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure compliance with deadlines, budget, and technical requirements.

This responsibility gave me a concrete vision of the progression of an architectural project, from its conception to its realization. Thanks to this range of skills, I am now capable of successfully completing any type of project, balancing design, feasibility, and on-site implementation.
