About Simon

I started my career in the automotive industry, in a supply chain position focused on suppliers. This experience allowed me to discover the requirements of the automotive world, particularly in terms of processes, deadlines, and production rates. In 2014, I then joined the aeronautical sector, in a supply chain role focused on customers. I was thus able to confront the challenges of demand management, integrating issues of forecast reliability, achievement of sales targets, planning, and inventory and returns management. I was also able to cultivate my sense of customer relations with an international portfolio. These two successive positions, in two different sectors, allowed me to broaden my knowledge of the industrial world, the functions of the company, and to acquire a global and extended vision. Following these two experiences, I wanted to move towards project management by taking over the management of a team of program management officers. This opportunity gave me the chance to be exposed to new issues such as cost and schedule management while developing my leadership and managerial approach. Finally, in 2017, I joined the world of consulting and the Capgemini Invent group in order to strengthen my vision and knowledge of the challenges related to digital transformation. Thanks to this experience, I was able to develop my synthesis and formalization skills as well as my adaptability by participating in strategic missions for major industrial players: Airbus Commercial Aircraft, Airbus Helicopters, and Total. This experience of nearly 3 years was also an opportunity to discover and then master the Scrum agile methodology and to strengthen my skills around IT subjects. Today, I want to give a new meaning to my career through this freelance role 😊!
