Geospatial Engineer & Geoinformatician

By transitioning from engineering to computer science, I combine technical understanding with modern software development. This interdisciplinary perspective allows me to view problems holistically and develop efficient, economical, and sustainable solutions. I focus on both the technical quality and the cost- and time-efficiency of a project.

My passion for technology and programming has accompanied me for many years and ultimately led me to software development. During my studies at the Berliner Hochschule für Technik (BHT), I gained extensive experience in data science, geostatistics (including Kriging), database management, and software development. I worked with technologies such as Python, Flutter, Kotlin, and modern database systems. Furthermore, I intensively dealt with embedded systems and robotics, including Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and TurtleBots with SLAM algorithms.

At Fraunhofer IOSB, I deepened my knowledge in frontend development with React and contributed to APIs and sophisticated software solutions for BOS organizations (authorities and organizations responsible for security).

Currently, I am working as a GIS Application Developer at Infrasoft GmbH. There, I develop modern GIS applications and work at the interface of geodata, software development, and digital processes.

My theses also focused on remote sensing and software development. A particular emphasis was placed on radar technologies and the development and use of open-source software solutions.
