I am certified as a Level 7 Translator (equivalent to a Master's degree) with Honors from Edvenn.

Co-manager of "La Soierie" (a community hub in Lasalle, Cévennes) and lead for translation services for the association. A translator by passion, I love finding the right word or expression. I understand the need to translate according to the register, the target audience, and in the context of artistic projects, to preserve both the deep meaning and the poetic form of the original.

A staunch advocate for human translation, I don't hesitate to use digital tools wisely.

Franco-American by birth, I speak native English. Having lived in France for twenty years, I speak without an accent and have a deep understanding of the language, which is crucial for good translation. My mother, a native French speaker, always hesitates on the right English word, and since I was very young, she's given me the annoying habit of helping her find that exact right word... This habit, with practice, has become a talent and helps me in my English translations, corrections, and revisions.

I have translated and/or proofread short stories, blogs, a film-themed game, website content, poems, a comic book, descriptions of environmental preservation projects, a humorous historical book, a book on sustainable urbanism, etc. My love of writing translates into the creativity of my translations.
