Implementation of the project "Social Digital Responsibility: Giving young consumers a voice for active participation in networks and platforms". The DBJR project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection (BMJV).

Networks and platforms have a significant influence on the daily life of a society. Together with young people, youth-friendly guidelines are developed for social networks and platforms, which decision-makers in politics and data corporations should take seriously and implement. Young people who want to strengthen their consumer position and exchange ideas on topics such as digital data sovereignty, youth-friendly digitalization, transparent algorithms, hate speech, sexism and racism online, cyber grooming, etc. should primarily participate.

For the project "Implementation of the EU Youth Conference" with a focus on communication

in close cooperation with the Media and Communication department of the DBJR and the BMFSFJ.

As part of the German EU Council Presidency, the DBJR, together with the BMFSFJ, digitally implemented the EU Youth Conference from October 2nd to October 5th, 2020. The German Federal Youth Ring e.V. is the working group of nationwide youth associations and state youth rings. The interests of children and young people in Germany are the focus.
