I have hands-on experience deploying and managing Kubernetes environments in private cloud infrastructures. As part of my work, I deployed and administered a Kubernetes cluster on eight OpenStack virtual machines and supported containerized workloads running on OpenStack-based infrastructure. My responsibilities included cluster setup, node provisioning, networking configuration, storage integration, user access management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.

I managed application deployments using Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts, ensuring high availability, scalability, and efficient resource utilization. I regularly performed cluster health checks, upgrades, backup procedures, and issue resolution related to pods, services, ingress, networking, and storage.

The tools and technologies I commonly used include Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, OpenStack, Ubuntu Linux, Git, Ansible, Terraform, and monitoring/logging solutions. I also have experience automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management, which helped streamline deployment and operational processes across the environment.

Designed and deployed Linux-based HPC cluster serving research and computational workloads —

administered SLURM workload manager for job scheduling, queue configuration, and resource policy

enforcement.

▸ Deployed OpenStack private cloud using Kolla-Ansible, delivering self-service compute, block storage, and

networking capabilities to internal teams.

▸ Managed Dell PowerEdge R7525 and R740 server fleet: RAID configuration, firmware lifecycle management,

OS installation, and hardware diagnostics in a production data center environment.

▸ Implemented comprehensive Linux hardening: SELinux policy enforcement, SSH key-based authentication,

iptables/firewalld rules, auditd logging, and CIS-aligned server configurations.

▸ Configured NFS, iSCSI, and SMB/CIFS network storage; managed ZFS/ext4/XFS file systems and

backup/recovery procedures ensuring data integrity.

▸ Deployed and maintained Node.js/Next.js applications on RHEL/Oracle Linux, supporting CI/CD integration and

stable production operations.

▸ Built centralized monitoring stack (Prometheus + Grafana) for cluster performance, resource utilization, and

proactive alert management.

▸ Authored detailed operational runbooks, disaster recovery procedures, and system architecture documentation

for cross-team knowledge transfer
