Within a scrum framework applied to network and telecommunications infrastructure for the bank, I hold the product owner role for the team (9 people).
In this role, I work with the team manager to prioritize the various topics/projects to be carried out, and help the team to stay focused for a period of approximately 4 weeks (the sprint).
Topics can come from users directly, from cross-functional projects requiring the network, or from the team itself (technical debt, continuous improvement).
Relationship with all network stakeholders is important and is maintained through the sprint review ritual at a minimum (once a month).
I work in a context where there is no separation between build and run within the network team. We apply the rule "you build it, you run it!". This leads to a very high level of network availability, few critical incidents (I have not experienced any crisis situations with a "war room" since my arrival), and satisfied users.
