After obtaining a BTS (Advanced Technician Certificate) in Industrial Product Design and being strongly attracted to design, Sébastien VERDEVOYE continued his studies in this field. In 2009, with a degree in Designer Designer from Kedge Design School in hand, he immediately joined Marketing Méditerranée in Marseille, where he realized numerous projects in global design (Communication - Product & Packaging Design).
In 2010, Sébastien became head of the Design division and developed the offer strategy and coordinated the entire team of designers. In the same year, he completed his training with a Master of Science in Management for Design acquired at the Salford University – School of Art & Design in Manchester.
His entrepreneurial adventure began in 2011, when he founded the SV DESIGN agency in Lyon. With a transversal, human and coherent design approach, the studio has since moved from a tape measure to the development of a brand, from a restaurant to an oyster knife, from a toy to an e-commerce site, from furniture to a weight training station...
In parallel, around his thirties, he began teaching in several renowned grandes écoles (ISCOM, École de Condé, Ynov...). For several years, he developed and shared various educational modules related to design with bac +2/+5 students. With a view to exchange and development, Sébastien co-founded the 1.61 design collective in 2015.
