Sébastien Spencer

Over the years I have progressed from development into project management and product ownership. I have worked across several sectors including: charity, third sector, commercial, telecommunications and pharmaceutical.

I have gained great experience of delivering projects on tight deadlines, high requirements and very defined budgets. I have a real passion for great designed and functional products that deliver the experience and requirements for both the business and end user.

Over the past 8 years I have led teams including developers in-house and remote and helped to support them in the delivery of products on time and budget.

As my career has progressed I have found I have moved from being the principle developer in many of my projects to be the product owner. This has stemmed from by background and passion in CX, finding my skills and knowledge are best placed to bridge the gap between users, business owners, developers and designers.

This means I am well-versed in building positive relationships with customers and other stakeholders. Able to gather strong requirements, build full technical and practical scope documents. I am skilled at overseeing complex, high-value and technical projects with excellent planning competencies. I consider myself a detail-oriented team player with strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.
