Architecture photographer, architect by training, I love discovering each new project and in particular:
- finding the best light, even if it means moving several times
- understanding the architect's intentions and the details not to be missed
- staging the inhabitants
- improving images in post-production
But above all, I love discovering beautiful architecture, landscapes or urban planning projects. Being an architect myself, I have a great sensitivity for the work of architects, landscape architects and urban planners.
My method:
- We discuss the project, the intentions, the spaces to be photographed, the practical conditions
- I set a shooting appointment based on availability and especially the weather
- I stay on site long enough, taking photos from the ground or freehand.
- If there are occupants, I try to fit in with their activities to capture more lively scenes
- I can come back several times, if one of the facades is not well lit, for example
- once the photos are taken, I sort them (editing) and send my pre-selection to my client
- with him, I define the final set of photos (generally between 15-30)
- I retouch these photos (light correction, perspective straightening)
I don't stop there, also being very knowledgeable about the Web, and mastering online communication, I can take care of the promotion of your projects once photographed or advise you on it.
Indeed, photos of completed projects must be the gateway to new projects, if they manage to attract the attention of major platforms and magazines. Having beautiful images is key for this. But it takes a little experience and a lot of work to make them known to a wider audience.
Looking forward to discovering your projects and translating them through my vision.
