Sasha Metgy

Hello!

I am Sasha, I come from Toulouse (in France) and I am a Director of Photography! I am still based in Toulouse today but I can easily move to Paris and all over France.

I started photography in 2017, especially with portraits. I then set up my own business as a micro-enterprise in 2019, but I quickly wanted to evolve.

I then enrolled in a film school in my hometown, Toulouse. It is a practice-based school, so I was able to test many professions in the film industry. It aims to train future directors, but more generally and as they like to say: all-rounders in audiovisual. From then on, and as I thought when I enrolled, I was really interested in image and light. That's it, I wanted to become a Director of Photography.

I then started buying equipment and doing projects as a Director of Photography, and today I know exactly where I want to go.

I am mainly interested in the visual realization of music videos and commercials, but I am by no means closed to short and feature film projects, documentaries, corporate videos.

Similarly, I am a Director of Photography, but I can also wear the hat of director, camera operator, video editor, or colorist.
