For 6 years, I held the role of Lead TypeScript Developer (React/Node.js) within a team of 5 developers.

I worked at the heart of the information system, on the processing and distribution of product data – a critical scope that fed e-commerce sites, stores, and warehouses.

I designed and maintained a coherent and homogeneous architecture across different applications, which facilitated their adoption and evolution. For example, I implemented a shared UI component library that simplified and accelerated front-end development.

My role included managing complex backend projects involving Node.js, Kafka, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and an infrastructure deployed on AWS via Terraform. I was recognized as a technical referent, and my opinion was regularly sought to guide strategic choices and ensure the quality of deliverables.

I participated in the redesign of the customer portal, within a team that grew from 12 to nearly 30 developers.

Joining at the beginning of the project as a backend developer, I quickly took on the role of the sole backend referent for the team. I was particularly in charge of technical exchanges with the teams responsible for the various APIs we called from our backend proxy, while the majority of the work concerned the front-end.

This assignment was particularly marked by the implementation of an exemplary agile framework. Thanks to an experienced scrum master and full management support, we were able to apply Scrum optimally: short feedback loops, strong stakeholder involvement, reliable estimations, and sprints consistently met.

We also participated in Scrum of Scrums with about ten teams, which allowed for effective coordination of a large-scale project despite the challenges and organizational complexity.

I was hired to internalize the customer portal, initially developed by a contractor in PHP/Symfony/Twig.

After a few months of maintaining the application, I convinced my manager to let me take the reins of the project autonomously, and in just two months, I completely rebuilt the application in JavaScript (Node.js backend, vanilla frontend), while restructuring it into microservices.

I was fully responsible for the application and its associated APIs (developed in Java), managing development, maintenance, bug prioritization, and new features. This experience allowed me to develop strong autonomy and demonstrate my ability to take on a complex project and refactor it quickly, even in a technology that was initially unknown to me.
