Sarah Witt

Independent photographer based between the Basque Country and Paris, I develop a practice that combines reportage, portraiture, and artistic photography. A graduate of Sciences Po in international relations, I chose to change my life in 2019 to dedicate myself fully to photography, following a self-taught path enriched by my documentary sensibility and my taste for visual storytelling.

Today, I collaborate with media outlets like Le Monde and Libération, exploring societal issues related to the environment, feminism, and sports. I also take portraits for the press and publishing houses, an exercise I particularly appreciate for its human and intimate dimension.

In parallel, I work with major brands on high-impact campaigns. For over 5 years, I have notably accompanied Decathlon on various projects, from lifestyle to brand documentary. I also had the opportunity to cover a major international event: the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

My sensitive approach, both instinctive and structured, allows me to adapt to very different universes — whether it's editorial reports, advertising campaigns, institutional portraits, or more personal projects, in France and abroad.

P.S.: I am also passionate about analog photography, which I practice with high standards. Trained at the Jean Verdier center in Paris, I master the entire process, from shooting to manual laboratory printing.
