GLIis an insurance broker developing digital solutions for managing and distributing insurance products.
The task was to support the migration/refactoring of several APIs with the goal of merging their functionalities into a single platform, within the context of a company restructuring and merger. Four Symfony 5.4 REST APIs and two CodeIgniter applications.
My role within the team is primarily to establish a set of best practices in terms of agile methods, code quality, solution design, feature testability, and continuous deployment:
Involvement in the modernization of legacy and recent applications in a critical business context.
Improvement of software quality through the implementation of automated tests (PHPUnit) and continuous integration.
Containerization of the development environment (Docker) and optimization of the delivery cycle.
