Samuel Le Tonquèze

I am a pianist and film composer, passionate about creating music to serve emotions and stories. In 2020, I obtained 3rd place in the international ScoreTheWorld competition, an experience that reinforced my desire to develop musical writing that is both expressive and adapted to the image.

My instrument of choice is the piano, which remains at the heart of my musical identity. I like to play on its expressive richness, sometimes intimate and minimalist, sometimes orchestral and powerful. Around this anchor, I develop textures, harmonies and rhythms that adapt to the images, atmospheres and projects entrusted to me.

I use Cubase Pro as my main workstation, which allows me to orchestrate, program and produce with precision and fluidity. Thanks to this tool, I can design realistic models, complex orchestrations or modern productions integrating acoustic and electronic sounds.

Original composition: music for image (cinema, documentary, advertising, video game) or for personal artistic projects.

Arrangements: adaptation and enrichment of your compositions, whether for acoustic, orchestral or electronic formations.

Mixing: balance, depth and clarity to give your songs a complete sound identity.

My approach is based on listening, understanding needs and seeking emotional accuracy. Each project is unique, and I am committed to creating music that faithfully reflects the universe and vision of my collaborators.
