My role was to provide a new vision to regional and store managers through an analytical approach on topics such as store efficiency based on catchment areas, commercial strategy, margin, productivity, staff allocation, payroll, inventory relevance, and overheads.

To support the 164 stores in achieving their objectives, my team collects operational and financial data to highlight business opportunities and best practices.

Furthermore, this role includes tasks such as financial closing and budget preparation for a scope of €1.6 billion. Presentation of business plans to the executive committee (NPV, IRR...)

Casino gave me the opportunity to take charge of the financial control of Franprix and Leader Price stores. Supervision of monthly closings, redefinition of financial control procedures (IFRS reporting by D+3), and drafting of the closing schedule. Functional management of 7 accounting managers and 2 financial controllers. Implementation of automated analysis tools for P&Ls and Balance Sheets for 1000 stores (€2.5 billion in turnover). Optimization of accounting and margin analysis processes, general accounting, banking, third-party, tax, and payroll. Development and monitoring of restructuring budgets in collaboration with operational teams. Reorganization of the controllers' team.
