Sabine Fentker

Between 2020 and 2024, I worked as a UX expert on several projects for the Bundesdruckerei, including for clients such as the Baden-Württemberg Police, the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) as part of the Federal Portal, and the Federal Foreign Office in the Digital.diplo project. In these projects, I was part of larger development teams and worked agilely on diverse tasks ranging from research, conception, and user testing to UI design. A particular focus was on digital accessibility, which I specifically integrated into the projects – a competence that is increasingly gaining importance for businesses today.

Since 2021, I have been working on a project basis for Dimari GmbH. Initially, I rebuilt the online shop and provided it as a white-label solution for customers. In a further step, we fundamentally revised the Vario Suite, transforming an outdated and organically grown design into a modern design system and completely re-conceptualizing it. A central focus of my work to this day is digital accessibility, which is of great importance to Dimari GmbH as a company in the telecommunications industry.

For Enpal, I worked on optimizing the website with a focus on a higher conversion rate. I was also involved in the development of the app for end consumers, which enables a simple and clear display of electricity consumption and feed-in. I made significant contributions to the success of the projects, particularly in the areas of conception, user testing, and UI design. My goal was always to create user-centered and intuitive solutions that make users' everyday lives easier.
