Ronan Chardonneau

Recognized expert on Matomo Analytics (formerly Piwik), I have been working on this analytics solution since 2010 and have been making a living from my Matomo Analytics training services since 2015.

I primarily provide training on Matomo Analytics, although I also do consulting.

All my training courses are tailor-made, based above all on listening to the client's needs and the different stakeholders involved in the project, whether they are from the administration/systems, communication, web development, or decision-maker side.

All my training courses are followed by support to ensure that the client will be autonomous on the solution.

I wrote the world's first book on Piwik in 2011 and was a speaker at the first Piwik Meetup in Berlin. I worked with the Matomo Analytics team from 2017 to 2019 and participated in the development of the Matomo Tag Manager tool. I created the first MOOC in French and also in English on Matomo Analytics. I developed the entire training program found on matomo.org.

I also launched the GDPR compliance program when I was working with the team.

Since the summer of 2019, I have been self-employed as it was difficult to continue with a constant 12-hour time difference with the team, which is mainly based in New Zealand.

I passed the Matomo certification and now maintain it for an online school project called FLOSS Marketing School.

I have trained an incredible number of clients on Matomo Analytics with very diverse technologies and project typologies all over the world. Currently, I am working on connecting a network of partners.
