Hello,

graduated with a professional baccalaureate in SN RISC (Digital Systems - Networks and Communicating Systems option), I have also self-taught myself in vast areas of IT.

Passionate about IT since I was 4 years old, I started getting interested in programming (especially web) and cybersecurity at the age of 13.

My high school years also allowed me to discover the field of computer networks and systems: a more than interesting field!

My favorite programming language is PHP (8), and I am against frameworks. The reason? Their atrocious performance cost. Symfony, Laravel, Zend... I do not tolerate them. Even in a professional context.

My favorite database engine is PostgreSQL for its remarkable efficiency in managing heavy data loads in record time (even without using modern disks like NVMe, SAS 10K in RAID 10 allows querying large tables in milliseconds!)

On the network side, I have only rarely been able to practice on enterprise-grade hardware (Cisco, HPE, Dell EMC, ...). My professional experience has only led me to practice on "entry-level" hardware such as TP-Link or NETGEAR, nothing very exceptional. And pfSense/ipfire as firewalls. For now, iptables is my best friend, although it is difficult to use against spoofed (D)DoS attacks aimed at saturating iptables. A physical firewall will always be better than software, and even then, a volumetric DDoS is formidably difficult to counter.

I have also had the opportunity to get involved in the DFZ: I own my AS 51741, a /24 IPv4 and a /29 IPv6 (being an LIR with RIPENCC), all announced via BGP.

Finally, I am somewhat interested in reverse engineering web applications as well as classic binary applications (x86/x64/ARM/MIPS) using IDA Pro.
