Many projects stall or never reach a successful conclusion. Not due to a lack of ideas, but because they are confused with operations and are not given the right space or priority. This happens because there isn't someone truly in charge, with a method, follow-up, and experience. I am that person.
I have over ten years of experience managing projects in very different contexts. I started by opening and managing two hospitality businesses in Uruguay — from scratch, with teams of 25 people and a monthly turnover of €50,000 between them. I learned what it means to get something off the ground when everything depends on you: planning when there's no room for error, coordinating people with different personalities, making quick decisions, and accepting the consequences.
Then I moved into the social sector. I worked as a Project Director in organizations with a presence in Latin America, managing strategic alliances, multidisciplinary teams, and budgets of up to €250,000 annually. More recently, I was at Cruz Roja Española, where I directed a comprehensive partnership project with companies.
Today, I lead Lume, a project management consultancy for small service businesses. I help companies get organized, execute what they have on hold, and move forward with a clear methodology. In parallel, I offer my services as a freelance project manager for companies that need an external person with good judgment who doesn't need everything explained twice.
I hold a Master's degree in Project Management from the University of Santiago de Compostela. I don't manage projects based on intuition or just accumulated experience. I work with methodology, tools, and a clear process from start to finish.
