About Romain

Polytech Engineer & Sciences Po Graduate: I bridge the gap between Tech and Business.

As a Project Manager and AMOA Consultant, I support public and private stakeholders in their digital and organizational transformations. My hybrid profile allows me to understand both the constraints of developers (SQL, Architecture) and the strategic challenges of decision-makers.

💡 What I bring to you:

IT Project Management & E-Governance: Concrete experience in deploying national solutions (Tax System in Benin): requirements gathering, writing User Stories, functional acceptance testing.

Health & Public Sector Expertise: Health crisis management (ARS Guyane), Digital Hospital, and health data analysis (CNSA).

Adaptability & Field Experience: Accustomed to demanding and multicultural contexts (West Africa, Taiwan), I can work with complete autonomy and unite dispersed teams.

🛠 My toolkit:

Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, V-Model.

Tech: SQL, Jira, Expert Excel (VBA/Macros), Python (basics).

Languages: French (Native), English (Fluent/Professional).

🌍 Mobility: Based in France, I am available for Remote missions, within mainland France, or for short/medium-term travel internationally (especially West Africa & Asia).

"I don't just aim to deliver a project, I aim to build a sustainable and useful solution."

  • OPEN!NEXT
    Research Engineer
    January 2022 - January 2022
    Grenoble, France
My involvement was at the end of the European OPEN!NEXT project and at the beginning of its successor project. The project focused on the open design of open-source hardware.
    My role and achievements:
My role was to ensure the smooth closure of the European OPEN!NEXT program concerning the obligations of the G-SCOP laboratory. In this context, I was able to write the final deliverable, respecting the contractual requirements for the project, building on the work done by the laboratory in recent years. I also participated in writing a scientific article on the methods and implications of documentation for the development of open-source hardware. I communicated several times with members of the European project in English via video calls, email, and even in person during a workshop I co-organized.

    Health Study Engineer
    January 2020 - January 2020
    Paris, France
    Context of my involvement:
My involvement was part of an epidemic reinforcement initiated urgently to cope with the increase in Dengue cases during the Sars-Cov-2 pandemic.

    My role and achievements:
My mission focused on implementing adequate actions to combat the start of an epidemic outbreak given the dengue cases reported by epidemiologists. Some of these actions were highly standardized, as provided for by the Public Health Code and the functioning of regional health agencies in such circumstances. Regular reports were to be provided, and crisis committees were organized with the prefecture teams. Another part of my mission involved organizing the storage and distribution of impregnated mosquito nets and mosquito repellent lotion. My actions had to be carried out in consultation with the mosquito control services of the community of municipalities and the scientific services of the Pasteur Institute of Guyana. A final aspect of my work included communication actions regarding vector control and the epidemic response to adopt for dengue. In agreement with the communication department, I supervised the renewal of the poster campaign, the broadcast of radio spots, the renewal of logos, the writing, filming, and broadcast of television prevention spots.
