Romain Duriez

I started as a copywriter and designer at 1083, a leading brand in made-in-France products. My role then expanded to managing social media and content. For two years, I organized the editorial calendar, prepared publication texts, and contributed to the creation of visuals, photos, and videos. The writing part included social media hooks, blog articles, newsletters, print materials, website texts, as well as SEO and SEA.

For the photo/video part, I went on assignment to the 1083 factory in the Vosges region and to partner workshops (Safilin, Bleu Océane, Lemahieu...) to create content and enrich the company's image library. I launched new formats with my team and produced videos from start to finish (from shooting to editing). These contents remain the most viewed on the brand's Instagram account:

In the second part of my journey, I was also in charge of organizing photo shoots: booking locations, choosing models and outfits, preparing clothes, logistics, coordinating service providers (photographer, videographer, makeup artist, hairdresser...), styling support, and selecting photos.

In charge of print and web communication at the Sète town hall, I produced written content, reports, press kits, and press releases, and contributed to the writing of the City magazine. With other members of the department, I implemented new video formats. I was also responsible for monitoring the content strategy on social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).

In 2018, as project manager, I led the redesign of the City's website in conjunction with the chosen company and the communication department team (company interviews, graphic design choices, content rewriting, integration...). The site was voted the 5th best website for town halls with over 20,000 inhabitants at the "Trophées de la communication" in November 2019. When I left in March 2022, Sète was the most followed town under 100,000 inhabitants in Occitania, across all networks.

For 4 years, I covered the summer festivals, a cultural season with major events such as Jazz à Sète, Fiest'A Sète, Worldwide Festival, Demi Festival, and ImageSingulières. I produced live coverage, video recordings, photo reports, as well as web and print articles.

Responsible for managing the Midilibre.fr website within the web editorial team. Reporting, creating and rewriting articles, enriching dispatches, managing social media, researching information, and monitoring current events.
