Currently working as a DevSecOps in an environment where cybersecurity, reliability, and technical rigor are central, I am looking for targeted freelance missions, about 1 to 2 days a week, on performance, database, and scaling issues.

I help teams facing concrete scalability problems: PostgreSQL databases that can no longer handle the load, slow queries, poorly adapted indexes, lack of observability, oversized tables, load peaks, or backend architecture that is difficult to evolve.

My approach generally begins with setting up or improving observability to precisely identify performance issues. Based on these measurements, I can propose and implement concrete improvements: query analysis, indexing strategy, SQL rewriting, partitioning, TimescaleDB, backend processing optimization, setting up queues/workers, and architecture improvement.

This expertise comes notably from my experience at Fantasy, where I worked on scaling an application from about 1,000 users to over 100,000. I contributed significantly to PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB and backend optimization, with over 8 months focused on performance, data volume, SQL queries, and database scalability.

I can work on an existing application that is starting to show its limits, as well as on a new project with high performance stakes from the outset.
