Rob Schilder

👋 Senior software engineer working as an independent consultant, with over 6 years of experience building production-ready web and mobile applications for startups and product studios in Europe and the US.

I have extensively collaborated with clients such as Lightstrike Labs, Social Technology Lab, and De Lokalist, delivering cross-platform applications, backend systems, and scalable infrastructure in realistic operational and enterprise environments.

Previously, I worked for four years at De Lokalist, where I was responsible for native iOS and Android development for a large-scale local food marketplace. This involved supporting complex logistics workflows and short chains connecting farmers directly with businesses and consumers.

Today, I operate through my sole proprietorship Schilder Development, taking on freelance and contract assignments. I am also a co-founder of Dropstitch, an early-stage startup building infrastructure for the resale of vintage and second-hand clothing.
