Robin Feat

Hello and welcome to my profile,

I am Robin Feat, an independent video director, editor/FX, and motion designer, passionate about audiovisual and visual storytelling.

I have been working in editing for over 7 years and have been developing documentary and directing projects for a year, after several years of experience as a technician on demanding productions. I have notably worked on TV documentaries broadcast on Arte, France 2 (Envoyé Spécial), France 5, RMC, M6, and TF1 (Grands Reportages).

Having trained in art school, then at INA as a cameraman, I have built a versatile career combining technique, writing, and visual sense. A former high-level cyclist, I started as a motorcycle cameraman and sports reporter editor, before turning to long-form documentary.

In parallel, I have been directing short formats for social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) for several years. I am currently the official editor for Cédric Tassan, a cycling adventurer, and I have also worked for the YouTube creator Sofiane at Boudouni Studios.

These last two years have marked a turning point with a year-long trip across Europe in a converted van, during which my partner, a cinematographer, and I produced several mini-travel documentaries broadcast on YouTube. Now back in France, I continue my freelance work while preparing a long-form documentary.

I primarily edit on DaVinci Resolve, use Premiere Pro as needed, and create animations on After Effects. Trained in professional color grading, I can support a project from the writing stage, and I also work as a cameraman with my own equipment (Sony FX3, DJI drone).
