I hold a Degree in Medicine with honours (MBChB) and benefit from both clinical experience and more than 10 years’ experience as a medical editor and writer. In brief:

• 5 years’ clinical experience

- General medicine, respiratory medicine, accident and emergency, general surgery.

- Orthopaedics, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, care of the elderly medicine (geriatrics), psychiatry.

• 10+ years’ editorial and writing experience

- Experienced editor and content writer for health & wellness and medical publications.

- Currently work as a medical editor/writer for Barcelona Language Services, Enago, and academic departments throughout the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, and the UK.

- Extensive experience with pre-submission review and editing, specialising in services for authors whose first language is not English.

• MBChB with honours, Liverpool University

- George Holt Medal for high academic achievement in physiology research.

- Distinctions in all extended Special Study Modules (research/theses).

All work I undertake benefits from my tacit understanding of what clinicians need. Currently, I run a small editing company and work successfully with various editing, media, and academic institutions. This work is stable and takes less than half of my working week, though I am not averse to working extra hours.
