As a Full Stack PHP Developer at Xtensus, I contributed to the creation of websites with Typo3 and the design and development of several critical web applications. Notably, I developed a forest crime management system (CRMS) for the Ministry of Forest Economy of the Republic of Congo, facilitating the management of forest infractions. I also designed an electronic document management application for the General Directorate of Public Portfolio of the same country. For these projects, I used a variety of technologies, including Symfony 3.4 and 4.2, jQuery, Bootstrap, Typo3, CSS, HTML5, and PHP 7, ensuring robust and efficient solutions to meet our clients' specific needs.

Migrating a PHP7 project to PHP8 can present several challenges, but it also offers significant improvements in performance and security. In my last experience, I was responsible for updating a complex application, ensuring full compatibility with PHP8.

This migration included updating all dependencies and third-party libraries to ensure they were compatible with PHP8. I also had to review and adjust the code to eliminate warnings and errors related to syntax and behavior changes introduced in PHP8. This included managing new features like union types, attributes, and improved error handling.

Furthermore, I implemented automated tests to ensure the migration did not introduce regressions. The process concluded with a rigorous validation phase to ensure the application functioned correctly in the production environment. This experience not only improved the application's performance but also facilitated future maintenance thanks to PHP8's new features.

As a Full Stack PHP Developer at Databiz, I was responsible for creating Restful APIs and developing new technology stacks. As a Technical Lead, I supervised code reviews and project deployments to staging, pre-production, and production environments. I also conducted pre-development testing phases and implemented a monitoring system to ensure production quality. I used various technologies, including Docker, Symfony 5.2, Slim, PHP 7.4, Git, Gitlab CI/CD, Redmine, Teams, and RabbitMQ, to optimize and secure development and deployment processes, thus ensuring continuous and reliable project delivery.
