Within this project, the SIX DocHub, a digital platform for the central creation, management, and distribution of regulatory documents, was successfully conceived and implemented. The platform supports issuers, asset managers, and banks in complying with legal requirements such as MiFID II and PRIIPs and serves as a central hub for connecting to national and international distribution channels.

The platform supports compliance with regulatory requirements and enables traceable, audit-proof provision of documents for client portals, exchanges, data providers, and internal systems.

After the successful product launch of DocHub, I supported the platform as a strategic and operational partner of product management in its continuous development and optimization.

The DocHub serves as a central platform for legally compliant distribution of regulatory documents such as KIDs, Final Terms, and Termsheets. In the course of ongoing regulatory changes (e.g., PRIIPs, MiFID II, FIDLEG) as well as customer-specific requirements, a flexible yet stable further development of the platform was necessary – with particular consideration of compliance, interface stability, and operational reliability.

Responsibilities:

Joint definition of product goals, roadmap planning, and release strategy. Evaluation of regulatory changes and customer needs regarding their technical and business feasibility.

Evaluation and prioritization of change requests from operations, customer feedback, and the regulatory environment. Development of solution concepts and coordination of implementation with business units, QA, and IT.

Moderation of agile processes within the development team and at the interface with customers and stakeholders. Continuation of regular sprint rituals, retrospectives, and backlog maintenance with a focus on value orientation and transparency.

Conducting requirements workshops with customers and internal departments. Structuring and prioritizing regulatory requirements, e.g., regarding new document types or distribution obligations.

Development of acceptance criteria and supportive guidance of QA in testing regulatory relevant features. Coordination of business acceptances involving Legal and Compliance departments.

Brexit had significant implications for regulatory requirements for financial products, particularly concerning the creation and provision of Key Information Documents (KIDs) according to PRIIP regulation. The project's goal was to adapt the existing KID generation platform UBS EasyKID Pro to fully and audit-proof reflect the different legal frameworks in the EU and UK – while adhering to all regulatory deadlines.
